Why Longview Ledger

What Sets Our Approach Apart

Unhurried, Plain Language

Sessions move at the pace of the material, not the pace of a sales pitch. We explain terms as they arise and welcome questions at every step.

Small Groups, Real Attention

Orientation sessions are capped at twelve participants so the facilitator can address what actually matters to the people in the room.

Clear Scope, No Overreach

We are educators and organisers, not advisers. Where a question falls outside our scope, we say so plainly and point toward the right professional.

Malaysian Context Throughout

Content draws on publicly available Malaysian forms, EPF documentation conventions, and the kinds of paperwork that accumulate in a Malaysian working household.

Materials You Keep

Printed records index sheets, written workbooks, and communication templates are yours to retain and return to after sessions close.

Bilingual Workplace Resources

Employer-facing communication templates are prepared in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, ready for internal distribution without further editing.

Not Sure Where to Begin?

Send us a message and we will describe which programme fits your situation. There is no obligation, and we will not recommend something that is not the right fit.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly do your sessions cover?
Our sessions cover the general landscape of retirement-related paperwork — the types of documents a household or employer typically holds, how they are usually organised, what the common terms on statements mean, and which publicly available forms are relevant. We do not interpret individual entitlements, advise on specific circumstances, or act as financial or legal professionals.
Who is the Orientation Session designed for?
Primarily for people approaching retirement age and for adult children who are helping a parent get their papers in order. The content is written for someone with no background in finance or administration — the goal is to leave participants knowing what they have, where it should be, and what questions to bring to a qualified adviser.
How long does the Household Records Programme take?
Six weeks of weekly two-hour group sessions, plus independent work between sessions using the workbook. Most participants estimate they spend three to five hours per week in total. The programme ends with a review of the completed records index you have built, which you keep.
What does the employer consulting engagement involve?
Typically eight to twelve weeks. We map your current retirement offboarding process, identify documentation gaps, redesign internal communication templates in plain English and Bahasa Malaysia, run two workshops for HR staff, and close with an operations report. Scope is strictly process and communications — it excludes interpretation of entitlements or scheme terms.
Are sessions held in English or Bahasa Malaysia?
Group sessions are conducted in English. The employer consulting programme produces deliverables in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. If you have a specific language requirement for a group booking, please mention it when you enquire and we will discuss what is practical.
How is pricing structured and what does it include?
The Orientation Session is priced at RM 490 per person, the six-week Household Programme at RM 1,600 per household, and the employer consulting engagement at RM 4,500. All prices include the materials described in each programme's outline. There are no additional fees for the workbook, printed index sheets, or communication templates.
What happens after I make an enquiry?
We aim to respond within two working days. We will ask a few questions to understand your situation, confirm which programme fits, and share upcoming session dates. There is no sales process — if nothing suits your circumstances, we will say so.
