Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Longview Ledger website or enrolling in any of our programmes. By using this website or participating in a programme, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or enrol in our programmes.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or submitting an enquiry or enrolment, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and that you accept these terms in full. Use of the website or participation in a programme following any update to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
3. Description of Services
Longview Ledger provides general education, information organisation, and operational consulting related to retirement records and pension documentation. Our programmes are designed for residents and businesses in Malaysia. The scope of all programmes is strictly limited to:
- General information about document types and filing conventions
- Organisational methods for household and workplace records
- Process mapping and plain-language communications for HR teams
Our programmes do not constitute financial advice, legal advice, or any form of regulated professional advice. Nothing in our sessions, materials, or communications should be construed as advice on individual entitlements, scheme terms, tax matters, or legal circumstances. Matters requiring regulated professional input should be directed to an appropriately qualified financial planner, solicitor, or other licensed professional.
4. Programme Enrolment
Enrolment in a programme is confirmed upon receipt of payment and written confirmation from Longview Ledger. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are not reserved until payment is received. Group sessions are subject to minimum and maximum participant numbers.
Employer consulting engagements are confirmed through a separate engagement letter which supplements these terms. In the event of any conflict between the engagement letter and these terms, the engagement letter prevails.
5. Payment Terms
Programme fees are as published on our website at the time of enrolment, denominated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Payment is required in full prior to programme commencement unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellations by the participant: Cancellations made more than seven calendar days before a session date will receive a full refund. Cancellations within seven days will not be refunded, but the place may be transferred to another person. For multi-week programmes, cancellations after Week 2 are non-refundable.
Cancellations by Longview Ledger: If we cancel a session, we will offer a full refund or a transfer to an alternative date. We are not liable for consequential losses arising from cancellation.
6. User Responsibilities
- You agree to use the website and programme content for lawful purposes only.
- You agree not to reproduce or distribute programme materials for commercial purposes without our written consent.
- You agree not to disrupt group sessions or interfere with other participants' experience.
- You agree not to share personal financial or identification details of other individuals during group settings.
- You agree not to attempt to obtain professional advice from session facilitators beyond the stated scope of the programme.
7. Intellectual Property
All materials distributed in our programmes — workbooks, records index sheets, communication templates, and printed resources — are provided for the personal or internal organisational use of the enrolling participant. You may retain and refer to these materials indefinitely. You may not reproduce, resell, or distribute them to third parties for commercial gain without our prior written permission. The Longview Ledger name, logo, and programme names are our property.
8. Disclaimers
Our programmes and website content are provided for general information and organisational purposes only. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but we do not warrant that information is complete, current, or free from error.
We do not represent or warrant that participation in any programme will lead to any particular outcome, including financial readiness, regulatory compliance, or successful interaction with government or financial institutions. Outcomes depend entirely on the individual participant's circumstances and actions taken following the programme.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Longview Ledger's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the website or participation in a programme is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant programme.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of income, loss of data, or losses arising from reliance on programme content for regulated professional decisions.
10. Termination
We may remove a participant from a programme without refund if their conduct disrupts the session, breaches these terms, or makes continuation unsuitable for other participants. We may also decline future enrolment from a participant where previous conduct has been disruptive. You may withdraw from a programme subject to the cancellation terms in Section 5.
11. Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern about our services, please contact us at [email protected] in the first instance. We will aim to respond within ten working days and seek to resolve the matter informally.
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
12. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: These terms, together with any programme-specific enrolment confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between us.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment: You may not assign rights or obligations under this agreement without our written consent.
- Notices: Notices to us should be sent to [email protected] or to our postal address.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or participation in a programme after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
